The ‘World Alliance for Efficient Solutions’ Initiative was created by Bertrand Piccard and his Solar Impulse Foundation to help identify companies that offer clean and profitable solutions that have the potential to address the environmental challenges of today.

Bertrand Piccard, who is widely known for his around-the-world flight in a solar-powered airplane, and Solar Impulse are now actively promoting the 1000+ solutions to businesses and governments around the world. This will help bring these new technologies and products to the market and scale them for the benefits of people and the planet.

The aim of the ‘World Alliance for Efficient Solutions’ is to share the message that ‘Profitable solutions to protect the environment do exist’ Bertrand Piccard’s goal now is to motivate governments, corporations and institutions to adopt clean and efficient solutions and then promote these solutions to the media and the public to make them more accessible to a broad audience.

We are so excited that EcoBurner and EcoServe are recognised as one of these solutions as we have always known that our system reduces our impact on the environment in a cost-effective way but now we have support from the Solar Impulse Foundation and Bertrand Piccard to bring our message to a much wider audience in a global effort to combat climate change.

To receive the “Solar Impulse Efficient Solution” Label, EcoBurner was thoroughly assessed by a pool of independent experts according to 5 criteria covering the three main topics of Feasibility, Environmental and Profitability. Our system fully satisfied the eligibility criteria thanks to the WATER and CARBON savings achieved by using the EcoBurner system instead of gel and wicks.

Simply put, EcoBurner replaces old, polluting devices (gel & wick pots) with existing efficient solutions, exactly the type of solution that the Solar Impulse Foundation is promoting.
